Some people will tell you to do this or that to your testicles, to damage them, then go to the doctor who will remove them because he can't repair them And that would probably work in many cases. Assuming you live through whatever you did to damage them - and that can be a wild assumption considering how much blood is in that portion of the human body. It may also be that if you had the same urologist for a number of years and he knew you, he may not ask too many questions. Of course we should all have a regular urologist and I bet that most people under age 50 don't. Anyway, for now, I think the majority of castrations are not done by a medical professional. Every once in a while you'll hear of someone being arrested for performing a castration. It's illegal to castrate someone unless you are Doctor. You will be considered to be practicing medicine without a license. In some areas there are extra laws. Anyway I'll tell you what I know of the different methods and what I think of each. |

A small incision is made in each side of the scrotum. The cords are pulled out the incision, and pulled more, until the entire testicle is outside the scrotum. Now the cords (vas deferens) are tied off with a surgical knot. Then the entire cord is cut, and perhaps cauterized. The testicle is gone. The cord stub is put back in the scrotum and the incision is stitched up. The procedure is repeated on the other side and you are now an eunuch. There is no risk of failure. There are other risks. For starters, there is an infection risk. You are cutting into the body and leaving a foreign item inside (the suture tying off the vas deferens). Not to mention that stitches frequently get infected. Or the possibility that some instrument wasn't quite sterile. So I think the risk of infection is rather high. You must be careful to use a suture of the correct material. Gut sutures may dissolve too fast. Dexon II is a bit slower to dissolve and is better tolerated by the body. What I consider to be the biggest risk, is if the suture isn't tied off good enough, or dissolves too quickly, or anything bad. This could cause uncontrolled bleeding. If you were awake and called 911 fast enough you might be ok, but what if this happened while you were sleeping? You could bleed to death quite easily. There is also the issue of the tissue at the end of the cord which will be put back into your body. This tissue will heal. It could grow and attach to another part of your body. The correct thing to do is to attach it with a suture to a part that doesn't matter. Failure to do so could cause the cord to grow, attached to another part of your body. Perhaps a part where it doesn't quite fit. This could cause pain, discomfort and even another surgery to solve the problem. A beginner could really cause themselves a problem here. Nonetheless, I believe that if done by someone who know what they are doing, and antibiotics are used along with truly sterile conditions, then surgical castration is probably the safest and surest way to go. But you can't cut the corners and be safe. |

![]() The burdizzo is a device that is intended to be used to castrate goats, or cattle. It works by crushing the vas deferens and the blood supply to the testicles. The testicle dies quicker than the body can repair the damage caused by crushing. The dead testicle then is re-absorbed into the body and the eunuch is left with a couple lima-bean sized lumps in his scrotum. The big risk here is failure. But other risks include the cords not being caught correctly between the jaws. This can cause nerve damage, failure, and continual pain. It's important to close the burdizzo quickly, and the cords won't cooperate. They don't want to stay in the clamp. In the hands of someone inexperienced a burdizzo could be dangerous. But if you can close it correctly, the only real risk is failure. The damage to the skin is less than it would be with surgical castration. You can apply an antibiotic ointment and then the infection risk is practically non existent. The cuts will heal pretty quickly and leave a minor visual scar, but that scar will fade in a couple years. The burdizzo is a slower method of castration. Unlike having the testicles completely gone, the burdizzo leaves them there to die slowly. It also leaves part of the testicle, and the entire epididymis, in the scrotum. The use of a burdizzo causes a tremendous amount of pain, for 30-60 seconds. After that, it still hurts, but not as bad. There will be periodic pain for the next week or so. There will be swelling of the scrotum area that could be painful. Painkillers such as xylocaine will totally numb the cords and everything else you inject them into. Other painkillers such as lidocaine will totally numb the skin but not the cords or anything internal. What can I summarize with? After all, I chose the burdizzo, twice. |

![]() The entire scrotum, including both testicles, are inserted through the stretched band. The band is adjusted to the desired location on the scrotum, and a short distance below the band the entire scrotum is cut off. Including the cords and testicles. The skin under the band will heal together, sealing everything up. Everything below the band will die and fall off, then the band will fall off. At least that is the theory. I've read a few variations of this idea, from using multiple bands to prevent one falling off, to leaving extra skin below the band to help prevent one slipping off. But I think the risks here are tremendous. Bottom line is, if that band comes off before you heal, you will start bleeding. When that happens what's left of the veins will slip up into your body where you won't be able to reach them. You will not have very long to call 911 and hope help arrives quick. Of course you can band the scrotum and not cut it off. Apparently this leaves a large risk of gangrene. It also stinks a lot as the testicles and scrotum die. And I imagine there are a lot of embarrassing places you could be when the dead testicles finally fell off. I think the only way this could be done safely was if you had someone qualified that was available to properly tie off the cords and stitch up the wound after you cut. For me, this was the most erotic method of castration I could imagine.
Most of my fantasies revolved around having my balls cut off.
But I just think this method is too dangerous to be practical. |

There are a variety of drugs that can be taken to chemically castrate a man. Some of them will cause permanent damage if taken too long. But the castration is reversible if you only take them a short time. From what I've read, the theory is not to stop the body from producing
testosterone, but to block the bodies ability to take what it needs from
the testosterone it produces. I am not aware what happens to this unused
testosterone, I guess it just gets handeled with the rest of the bodies
trash. This is the only way you can test drive castration so there's a lot to be said for trying out chemical castration before you advance to a more ... permanent method. I didn't try it this way and I don't regret that. I have been told that the chemicals do considerably reduce your sex drive. Long term use can reduce testicle size as well. I imagine some of the drugs don't cause permanent damage but I couldn't tell you which ones. |

Grain alcohol is injected into the testicles, many different times until the testicles die and shrink into nothing. That's the idea, anyway. I do not know a lot about this, but have been reading about it more and more often recently. It seems to me that there would be a lot of risks when injecting something like this into your body. I have not heard on anyone who successfully castrated themselves this way - but it does seem like many people try it. None of them ever seem to talk about results. |
